Social Connectedness Campaign
Stigma + Tension
Loneliness is like a fog hanging over all of our heads. For some to a greater degree than others, but still, we are all subject to feeling lonely at one time or another, and no one really speaks about it. Speaking about loneliness has become a Scarlet letter for the person who does. Society as a whole sees that person as weak, unable to pick themselves up and soldier on. Consequently, people who battle with loneliness suffer in silence, and may not ever get any help to cope with it. With this idea, we want help people understand they can talk about loneliness anywhere at anytime. These two spots are about breaking the stigma and tension to connect.
For this campaign, I worked hand-in-hand with the Director to write the concepts for each of these spots. Once approved, I handled the budgets, crew booking, casting, location scouting/booking, art department and styling, and shooting schedule creation and implementation. I was also the post production producer.
